Oh, this strange summer season. The only thing that pleases is a sunny warm June, which, after the lifting of the self-isolation regime, allowed people to enjoy the good weather.
A fairly large number of areas of activity and entertainment have changed: slowed down due to these unpleasant events. From this, the magazines have become sadder in terms of information in them, where gossip columns are memories of long-standing events, festivals and concerts are also a rarity these days and materials with the words: “Remember how it was?”
Everyone is really looking forward to mid-July, with the hope that the borders will still be opened, and it will be possible to fly on vacation or on business to other countries to enjoy white sandy beaches, oceans and seas, exotic food or real paella.
Honestly, I'll tell you - there is hope, but very, very illusory. In the first weeks of July, you and I will have to understand other more complex things that are happening in our country, and only after that, in my opinion, it will be more clear where we will fly and with what funds. Carefully avoiding the topic of politics, I will return to the rest.
Lately I have often been asked whether it is worth flying to Sochi on vacation, because I went there for several years in a row, or whether it is worth waiting for the borders to open.
I answer all at once - I would wait and not rush to invest that kind of money in a vacation at our resort. This is not because I am against domestic recreation, but simply I am aware of how much money you will need and how much less pleasure you will get from this than with the same amount abroad. But then, after leaving the house, we again look at fashionable and stylish things, trends with hairstyles and makeup. We are again interested in bicycles, horseback riding, swimwear and sunglasses. We look at catalogs, magazines and return to normal, normal life.
We will see you on the printed pages only in September, but life is in full swing in the electronic version of the magazine, on Instagram and Youtube channel of our publication. That is why this summer I will not tell you: “See you in the fall!”, But I will say: “We are with you! The most relevant events, analytical materials and meetings with interesting people are waiting for you all July and August on our digital platforms!”
