On April 14 and 15, the XXI Open Cherry Forest Art Festival started. This year the festival is celebrating its 20th birthday, as well as the 65th anniversary of the Moscow Sovremennik Theater.
In honor of their anniversaries, the festival and the theater gave the audience a gift - a grandiose premiere of the play "Theater" based on the novel by Somerset Maugham directed by Vladimir Pankov. The main role in it is played by the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Elena Yakovleva. The premiere was attended by Sergei Kapkov, Vladimir Pozner, Marina Aleksandrova, Andrey Makarevich and many others.
